The Katana class Battlecruiser was originally designed to be a replacement for the aging Bastion class cruisers, still in service after 4 decades of service. Katana class battlecruisers are five times the length of the Bastion class cruiser as well as carrying nearly 40 times the amount of firepower. The new Plasma technology engines also allow the Katana to have a slightly higher maximum cruising velocity than Bastion ships.
The Katana is the only ship capable of carrying the "Armageddon" Railgun turrets, originally a stationary orbital defense platform all in itself. One shot from the Armageddon is more than enough to crack the surface of any planet, literally shaking everything apart with the explosive seismic shockwaves. The same weapon is equally devastating against enemy fleets. A smart gunner aboard the Katana will target multiple vessels in a line, tearing through all the targets with one round from the Armageddon. The secondary weapons on the ship are nothing to scoff at either. The Titan cannons on the Bastion class ships packed enough firepower to level a city with a full salvo. The new Titan IIs installed on the Katana class cruiser has been fitted with new plasma recycler technologies, lowering the recharge rate of this massive weapon by half. Multiple missile launchers dot the length of the ship. The most notable is the Katana's Edge launchers, specially modified to fire 3 warheads in rapid succession per tube. As if the Titan II turrets weren't enough, the Katana's Edge will tear any surviving ships apart in a nuclear firestorm.
Fightercraft have long been the bane of capital ships, darting in and out to deliver critical blows at close range. The Katana's centerline design addresses these problems with a resounding conclusion. Armed with 65 quad rapid fire high explosive flak turrets, the Katana literally puts up a field of fire in which no fightercraft can survive. The same weapon can also be used to intercept long range torpedoes and other projectiles. Filling in the gaps is the wing of interceptors and fighter-bombers stationed aboard the Katana.
Unfortunately, with all these upgrades, only 4 of these deadly yet majestic cruisers have been put into service due to the extreme costs of keeping one of these fielded. Most of the ships are parked near the core systems mostly for propaganda purposes rather than warfare.

It is dangerous for anyone to awesome they are 100% right. Even a mathematical theory can be proven wrong, so if this truth is applied to real life and society, then think just how difficult it is to work out exactly what is right or wrong.
